Disney Give a Day Get a Day Update

Greetings!

I just wanted to remind everyone to register if you haven't yet for the Disney Give a Day Get a Day program. They have announced on their site they are close to reaching their 1 million volunteers goal. We have been so thrilled here at the Circle of Love Foundation with the responses and inquiries that we have received. I am so excited to announce that we have had over one thousand individuals register to participate with donating blankets and stuffed animals! Wow! We never anticipated having this kind of response. Thank you everyone that has participated, and plan to participate. We are overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude and appreciation.
As you can imagine we are very bust right now with assisting and organizing all these volunteers. When things quite down a bit I plan to post more pictures and information about what has already been such a rewarding event. Thanks again for all you are doing!

Fleece Blanket Samples

We have had a lot of inquiries about how we want the fleece blankets tied. Here are a few samples of some beautiful blankets that have already been donated. We are not picky about how the blankets are tied as long as they are close to the dimensions specified.

Disney Give a Day Get a Day

A very big thank you to all who have offered to volunteer for the Disney Give a Day Get a Day ticket promotion! We are so thrilled with the response and I am so excited to announce we just had our 300th volunteer register. Wonderful! Please continue to spread the word. We can always use more donations and will keep allowing people to register until Disney runs out of tickets for this promotion.

If you have not yet registered aor want to learn more here's what to do:

First go to the Disney Give a Day page here.

Search for an activity using zip code 84043.

Find the Circle of Love project you wish to participate in and click on "show details". There are two available: making fleece blankets or collecting Beanie Babies size stuffed animals.

You can send a request if you have questions or if you are ready to register just go ahead and sign up by clicking on the green "click here" at the bottom.

While you are registering you will notice it asks for a date for your project. You may choose your own date that allows you enough time to complete your project. Projects are worked on at home at your own pace. Please note your blankets and/or stuffed animals must be delivered within 72 hours of that date. After that I can no longer submit your name for completion.

When your done registering it will send me a confirmation e-mail.

Next put together your donations and deliver them to one of our drop off locations in Lehi, St. George, and Cottonwood Heights, Utah. (E-mail me for the directions to your desired drop of location.)

When you have given me your donations I will submit your completion online. Within two weeks you will get your ticket confirmation from Disney.

Please remember you need to have three blankets or 20 stuffed animals for each person you register to earn a ticket.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any further questions! Thanks again!

These are just some ideas. We have found lots of things at dollar stores so check them out. Oriental traders catalog is also a good resource. Toothbrushes are the only required item because they really need them. Please use things that look new if they are used. The children see what the others get especially in the boarding schools.
